We had a fun football filled weekend. The Ravens won on Saturday and the Cowboys won on Sunday so everyone was happy here! It was pretty cold all weekend so we stayed in with a fire going which made it super cozy! We spent a good part of Saturday morning packing up the rest of our Christmas decorations, we had to grab a few more bins for storage, I never realize how much I add each year until I have to pack it all up. It is so crazy once we had all of the Christmas stuff down we were walking around saying we need something for this wall and this wall needs to be repainted, all of the little things you don't notice with a million Christmas decorations everywhere. I am also now on a declutter and organize the house mission. Which could take me awhile... I'll keep you posted on this!
Charlee loves her books so much, when she woke up Saturday morning she sat in her little chair and was "reading", while we were waiting on Daddy to get home with donuts and coffee!
We laid Charlee down for her afternoon nap and made a cheese plate to snack on while we watched football. I got this cheese plate before Christmas and I love that you can write on it. Jason was trying everything and then he looked at the board and told me he didn't really like the GoudA.....ha
When Charlee woke up from her nap she wanted to partake in the cheese plate fun... Don't worry the beer wasn't for her ;).
Saturday night we cooked steaks on the grill, and I made cheesy biscuits, mashed potatoes, and these au gratin Brussels sprouts, I didn't realize I actually liked brussel sprouts until about a year ago. These were a win in everyone's book.
While I was cooking dinner these two were running laps around the house cracking up.
Sunday our friends came over to cheer for the cowboys with me...they are Jett's fans, so they were good sports! We had snacks then ordered pizza and Charlee refused to nap and miss any part of the game.
Hope you have a great week!
