Bath time is fun time!

This week has been a rough one, I have been under the weather all week. Jason actually ended up staying home Monday to take care of Charlee. You know those commercials I think they are NyQuil, the ones where the parent is sick and goes into the babies room and says I'm going to take the day off... Haha, that's how I felt this week. Charlee hasn't felt great either and it's supposed to stay cold and nasty here all weekend. Looks like we will spend lots of time inside. The one thing that helps is twinning with my girl!

So now on to what this blog is about...BATH TIME, Charlee has always loved bath time and we have figured out what she loves and what we love, so... I figured I could share our favorites!

I have used Aveeno products on her since she was a few months old. I started with others but she started getting a little eczema so my pediatrician recommended it and we have not had any skin issues since. The pediatrician said that some of the other baby products just weren't moisturizing enough. We have also used the california baby products and she does good with those as well, no matter what body wash we use she gets lathered up in the lotion every night! I'm sure everyone has hooded towels they are the best and target makes the cutest little animal ones.

And on to Charlees bath favorites.... She loves loves her books and this includes bath books! She is also a fan of the boon bath toys, she loves the little foam like ones that stick to the sides of the tub (mostly for chewing on) and the little creatures she likes seeing the water come out of their little holes.

And last but not least.....my favorites! The skip hop kneeler is a must for me. It is super padded and definitely make your life easier. The grippy dots are great for helping Charlee to not slide everywhere, there are a million different ones out there, I choose to go with these because I'm crazy and they matched all of her toys, at first I wanted little frogs or ducks but they clashed with other bath toys....lol! The boon drain cover is great for protecting your baby if your drain is raised like ours. It stays for the most part but there are times where I have to replace it over the drain during bath time. The faucet cover is more of a cute thing for me and maybe when Charlee is older and tries touching the faucet it will protect her.

There are all kinds of products out there that are supposed to test the water temperature, like little ducks, or even the munchkin grippy dots, but I haven't found any of those to be very accurate and I'm always so nervous I check it like 15 times before I put Charlee in.

One more picture. Storage of all these bath things :)! We had a towel rack above the tub that of course only had pretty towels hanging from it so it was never used. We decided to take it down and add these shelves. They have come in pretty handy we have all of her bath stuff there and now we actually use the space.

This picture was from one of Charlees first baths, we knew we were in trouble when she gave us the eyes!

Hope these little tips help make bath time fun for you and you little nugget!

Have a great weekend, and stay warm!!!
