Charlee's First Birthday Party

Charlees first birthday came with so many emotions. On one hand I was SO excited to plan her pink and gold party, and on the other hand I couldn't believe my baby was already one year! I got so much inspiration from Pinterest and other bloggers that my head was overfilled with ideas. I really just wanted a special party for my little girl (first birthdays are definitely for the parents ;)) and I think she had a blast. She loved opening her gifts, she would hug her presents and squeal with excitement. However the smash cake she was not a fan of, she liked the taste but did not want to get her hands dirty so actually getting in and eating it was a no go! We did lots of sweets and of course beer, wine, and champagne for the adults.

We were so blessed to have a house full of friends and family to celebrate our girls birthday!

 

 

 

 

Decorating this cake was so easy and I was so happy with how it came out!

 

 

 

 

One of my best friends made this picture frame it was a big hit...thanks Christine!

 

By the end of the night this little nugget was so tired she used her banner as a foot rest!

 

What a fun day, I'm so in love with this little girl. I love doing fun things for her and this day was so special!
